Kira Parfeevets is a pianist and vocal coach pursuing a vibrant career in France and beyond. She graduated with multiple first prizes and a master’s degree in piano, accompaniment, and chamber music from the Minsk Academy of Music (Belarus), then went on to refine her skills at the Lyric Training Centre of the Paris National Opera. There, she had the privilege of working with Janine Reiss and Irène Aitoff — two legendary figures in the art of operatic accompaniment. This experience cemented her passion for the voice, which has since become her life’s work, dividing her time between opera productions, language coaching, and recitals.

Recognised early on for her work at the Paris Opera, she was soon invited to collaborate with many of the major French opera houses on Italian, French, and Russian repertoire. These include the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux, the Capitole de Toulouse, the Opéra de Nice, the Opéra-Théâtre d’Avignon, the Stanislavsky Theatre in Moscow, the Alfredo Kraus Festival in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the Aix-en-Provence Festival, the Paris National Opera, and the Opéra de Monte-Carlo. For over fifteen years, she has also been a regular collaborator with the Chorégies d’Orange.

Kira has worked alongside some of the world’s leading conductors, including Michel Plasson, Kurt Mazur, Alberto Zedda, Myung-Whun Chung, Pinchas Steinberg, Evelino Pidò, Yutaka Sado, Alain Altinoglu, Roberto Rizzi-Brignoli, Jesús López Cobos, Gianandrea Noseda, and Georges Prêtre, among many others.

Widely appreciated for her attentiveness, precision, and insightful guidance, Kira is sought after by numerous renowned singers, including Inva Mula, Sonya Yoncheva, Roberto Alagna, Ruggero Raimondi, and Plácido Domingo, both for role preparation and recital collaboration. Her engagements have taken her to prestigious venues such as Salle Gaveau, the Musée d’Orsay, the Amphitheatre of the Paris Opera, Palazzo Farnese in Rome, Teatro Massimo in Palermo, the Dubrovnik Festival, the Lisinski Concert Hall in Zagreb, the Vladimir Spivakov Festival in Colmar and the Rainier III Auditorium in Monaco.

Working with young singers also holds a central place in her career. She has led masterclasses at the Paris National Opera’s Lyric Training Centre, the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Belgium, the Atelier des Jeunes Voix du Rhin in Colmar, Opera Overture in California. In 2014, she was invited by Michel Plasson to join the newly founded Académie Internationale de Musique Française, which helps emerging artists deepen their understanding of French musical style and repertoire. She continues to return regularly, working alongside artists such as José Van Dam, Natalie Dessay, Françoise Pollet, and Sophie Koch.

For several years now, she has served as the Artistic Coordinator of the Lyric Academy of the Opéra de Monte-Carlo, and currently works as a vocal coach in the voice department of the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel for young artists in residence.
