Special scholarships

EAMT offers scholarships for non-EU students at BA and MA levels covering either 50% or 25% of the tuition fee, whose:

  • entrance examination result is at least 9 at BA level or at least 4 at MA level (admitted for the academic year 2020-2021):
  • last examination result in main study at least "very good" (admitted earlier)

The scholarships will be allocated in a scholarship audition that will take place in September or October. The exact date of the audition as well as the application deadline will be announced in the beginning of each academic year through the personal e-mails of the international students, on the EAMT homepage under "News" and "Auditions", and on the EAMT Facebook account.

"DoRa Pluss" programme offers following stipends:

Activity 1.1 "Short study and research related visits of Estonian young researchers and master students abroad“: grants to participate in a professional conference, seminar or course, or carry out other educational and research-related activities (e.g. working in libraries, using laboratories, developing study materials, working with a supervisor, participating in field work, consultations or other similar tasks) for up to 30 calendar days. The size of the grant consists of a transport allowance based on unit prices; study mobility accommodation allowance; daily allowance and the participation fees will be covered based on cost. The maximum size of the grant is 2000€ for one activity independent of its duration or location.

The application form can be downloaded here and should be sent electronically to the programme coordinator by the 5th of each month (except 5 July), taking into account that the mobility should start 6 weeks after the 10th of the month of application.

Activity 1.2 "Mobility of doctoral students from Estonian universities to foreign universities or research facilities": support for EAMT doctoral student mobility in foreign universities or research facilities for the purposes of study, training or participation in non-formal or formal education. The grant can be applied for more than once during the nominal study period, taking into account that the minimum mobility period is 31 calendar days and the grant can be awarded for a maximum of 10 months according to the quota allocated by EAMT.

Applications can be made for a grant to cover the travel, accommodation and living expenses related to the mobility.

The application form can be downloaded here  and should be sent electronically to the coordinator 5 times a year: 23 February, 25 May, 25 August, 24 September and 24 November.

Activity 2.1 "Full-time international master students in level studies": monthly scholarships of 350€ for foreign students (EU and non-EU) at MA level awarded for one academic year (paid from September to June).

Eligible is a student:
          MA 1st year

  • who is a full-time student;
  • who does not have Estonian citizenship;
  • whose place of residence is not in Estonia;
  • who does not have a permanent right of residence or a long-term residence permit in Estonia;
  • who has not stayed in Estonia for more than one year in the past three years; 
  • had the entrance examination result at least 4, in CCPM at least 8.MA 2nd year
  • who is a full-time student;
  • who does not have Estonian citizenship;
  • whose place of residence is not in Estonia;
  • who does not have a permanent right of residence or a long-term residence permit in Estonia;
  • who has not stayed in Estonia for more than one year in the past three years; 
  • who has completed the 1st year coursework full (no missing credit points) and in programme subjects worth at least 54 ECTS credits;
  • who has completed the 1st year coursework with the examination result in main study at least "very good"; in case of cultural management with the average grade at least 3,5.
