Kai Kiiv <\/a>is a graduate of the EAMT cultural management master\u2019s programme (2010) having previously obtained her bachelor\u2019s degree in violin (1997) and worked in the Symphony Orchestra of the Estonian National Opera from 1995 to 2008. In 2017 she obtained her second master\u2019s degree in international relations at Tallinn University.<\/p>\n

Since\u00a0 2008, Kai has been working at EAMT in the international relations office managing all the master classes that take place at EAMT, coordinating such EU scholarship programmes as DoRa+ and to the internationalization aimed activities of the\u00a0 EMTASTRA programme, and organizing the auditions for the European Union Youth Orchestra and World Youth Choir. In addition, she has been involved in organizing and managing numerous festivals, competitions and conferences at EAMT, and cooperation projects abroad with other European music academies.<\/p>\n

On 2020-2023, she was involved as a project manager in the and by EAMT cultural management programme initiated Erasmus+ strategic partnership project “Reinventing Mentorship in the Arts management”<\/a> working 3 years closely with the project partners from Latvia, Belgium, Serbia and Basque country, Spain. As a result of this collaboration, a comprehensive book offering a holistic view with multiple perspectives on the topic of mentorship in arts and cultural context was born in addition to a policy paper targeted to policymakers offering a wide overview of the key issues related to mentorship within art and cultural fields; and an interactive toolkit consisting of a variety of key insights, tools and advice in a concise manner easy to use by anyone in any role in mentorship context.<\/p>\n
