An extended composition or a part thereof<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Term 3:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Plan for the <strong>3rd term<\/strong> can be chosen freely.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Performance of 1 etude in a public concert, can be instructive (Czerny, Clementi, Moszkowsky, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Independently prepared 2 sonatas by Scarlatti.<\/li>\n<li>Examination E3 (duration: 20-30 min). Perform from memory a freely chosen programme consisting of works in the concert repertoire.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Term 4:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Performance of 1 etude in a public concert, can be instructive (Czerny, Clementi, Moszkowsky, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Examination E4 (duration: 20-30 min) Perform from memory:\n<ul>\n<li>A polyphonic work<\/li>\n<li>An extended composition or a part thereof<\/li>\n<li>3 concert etudes (Chopin, Liszt, Rahmaninov, Skryabin, Stravinski, Saint-Saens, Debussy, Prokofiev, Ligeti, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Term 5<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform independently prepared piano works by the Romantic-era composers with a duration of at least 5 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Learning and refining the program for the Bachelor&#8217;s examination. Couperin, Chambonnieres, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Term 2:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>German polyphony and variations, Italian toccatas and sonatas, French suites.<br \/>\nRefining technical skills, articulation in polyphony, imaginative and improvisational figuration of toccatas, agogics.<br \/>\nRepertoire: Buxtehude, Pachelbel, B\u00f6hm, Bach, Frescobaldi, A. Scarlatti, D. Scarlatti, F. P. E. Bach, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Term 4:<\/strong>\u0096<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>classical and early sonatas, French suites by Bach, French character pieces.<br \/>\nUse of different registers, styling of characters, development of polyphonic thinking, refinement of technique, achieving a beautiful tone.<br \/>\nRepertoire: Scarlatti, Haydn, Mozart, Soler, Bach, Duphly, Dandrieu, Balbastre, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Term 5:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>modern repertoire, suites and variations by Dutch composers, concertos by Bach. Learning about modern techniques and register options, learning the Dutch style, development of concert soloing skills.<br \/>\nRepertoire: Ligeti, Tiensuu, Penn, Francais, Sweelinck, Fiocco, Bach, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Term 6:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><span class=\"font12px_1\">Bachelor&#8217;s Degree Examination (MIX111)<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Compositions by representatives of different styles, incl. 2 extended compositions (sonata, suite, concerto, etc.), a composition by Bach and a modern composition. Program duration 50-60 min.<\/p>\n"},{"title":"Organ","text":"<p>Baroque (French, German, Italian), Romanticism (German, French), modern organ musing, Estonian organ music. Overview of the styles of organ music through the centuries. Introduction to the principles of registration, different periods and schools.<br \/>\nWorks to be performed from notes. A student performs at 6-8 class concerts.<br \/>\nDuring three study years, the student should refine the performance of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>at least ten compositions from the pre-Bach era<\/li>\n<li>at least 4-5 major compositions by Bach<\/li>\n<li>1 trio sonata<\/li>\n<li>8 chorale preludes by Bach<\/li>\n<li>2 Romantic-era sonatas<\/li>\n<li>1 piece by Reger, 1 by Liszt, 2 by Franck, 1-2 by Messiaen, 1-2 European works of the 20th century<\/li>\n<li>7-8 compositions by Estonian composers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The student should have an idea of concerts for organ and orchestra and be familiar with the differences between organs of different eras.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Term 6:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><span class=\"font12px_1\">Bachelor&#8217;s Degree Examination (MIX111)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A major composition from the Baroque era.<\/li>\n<li>An extended composition by J.S. Bach.<\/li>\n<li>A major composition of Romanticist music.<\/li>\n<li>A composition by an Estonian composer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n"},{"title":"Accordion","text":"<p><strong>Term 1-2:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The student participates actively in the work of the department and performs in at least 2 concerts during each study year.<br \/>\nAt least 7 compositions should be refined for performance. The program should include the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Baroque-era keyboard music<\/li>\n<li>polyphony<\/li>\n<li>an extended composition or parts thereof<\/li>\n<li>character pieces<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For examinations E1 and E2, perform at least 3 compositions, about 10 min.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Term 3-4:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>has the same requirements. Duration of E3 and E4 programs should be about 15 min.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Term 5-6:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>is used to prepare the program of the Bachelor&#8217;s examination.<br \/>\nDuration of E5 program should be about 20 min and it should consists of at least 4 compositions, including: 1 polyphonic composition, 1 extended composition or parts thereof, and original music for accordion. The examination programs should be performed from memory, except for large modern
