Bach Suite for solo cello;<\/li>\n<li>Either the first or both the second and third movements from a cello concerto;<\/li>\n<li>A freely chosen piece.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>Double Bass<\/h1>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Perform from memory a programme consisting of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two etudes featuring different techniques;<\/li>\n<li>Two movements from a sonata (eg. Eccles, Marecello,) or the Siemandl Concert-Etude;<\/li>\n<li>A freely chosen piece.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>Harp<\/h1>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Perform from memory a programme consisting of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two etudes featuring different techniques;<\/li>\n<li>A large form (Suite, Variations, Sonata, one movement from concert);<\/li>\n<li>A freely chosen piece.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>Classical Guitar<\/h1>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Perform from memory a programme consisting of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two etudes featuring different techniques (eg. Sor, Giuliani, Legnani, Brower, Villa-Lobos, etc.);<\/li>\n<li>Two movements from a J. S. Bach Lute Suite or from a suite by another Baroque composer;<\/li>\n<li>A large form (Suite, Variations, Sonata, one movement from concert).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>Estonian Kannel<\/h1>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Perform from memory a programme consisting of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A large form (sonata, variations, romantic ballades, or something comparable in length and substance) or a movement from it;<\/li>\n<li>Two pieces in varying styles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After the performance the candidate will be interviewed by a panel of faculty members. During the interview, the examination panel may test the candidate&#8217;s knowledge of music and culture. The interview will provide the opportunity for the candidate to demonstrate the sufficiency of their <strong>English language skills<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The examination panel will evaluate the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>fluency and precision<\/li>\n<li>expressiveness<\/li>\n<li>technical proficiency<\/li>\n<li>familiarity with various musical styles<\/li>\n<li>conveyance of personal expression<\/li>\n<li>technical difficulty of the repertoire<\/li>\n<li>general knowledge of music and
