{"id":5094,"date":"2020-09-12T18:43:20","date_gmt":"2020-09-12T15:43:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eamt.ee\/departments\/classical-music-performance\/brass-woodwind-and-percussion\/bachelors-studies\/sisseastumine\/"},"modified":"2024-01-08T17:05:36","modified_gmt":"2024-01-08T15:05:36","slug":"admission-auditions","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/eamt.ee\/en\/departments\/classical-music-performance\/brass-woodwind-and-percussion\/bachelors-studies\/admission-auditions\/","title":{"rendered":"Admission Auditions"},"content":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":0,"parent":5091,"menu_order":1,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-5094","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":{"is_not_a_page":false,"post_image":false,"page_content":[{"acf_fc_layout":"nupp","button_text":"ADMISSION DATES","button_url":"https:\/\/eamt.ee\/en\/admissions\/admission-dates\/","button_color":"blue","new_tab":false},{"acf_fc_layout":"tekstikast","page_text":"<h1>Brass and Woodwind<\/h1>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Perform a programme consisting of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A large form (sonata, variations, romantic ballades, or something comparable in length and substance);<\/li>\n<li>A large-scale work for a solo instrument;<\/li>\n<li>Two etudes;<\/li>\n<li>The candidate must be prepared to perform scales and arpeggios in all tonalities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>Percussion<\/h1>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Perform a programme consisting of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A work for marimba, vibraphone or xylophone, with or without accompaniment;<\/li>\n<li>Two etudes for small drum, from which one is rudimental (e.g. Wilcoxon Solos);<\/li>\n<li>An etude or piece for timpani or multipercussion;<\/li>\n<li>The candidate must be prepared to perform scales and arpeggios in all tonalities on either the marimba or the xylophone.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>After the performance the candidate will be interviewed by a panel of faculty members. During the interview, the examination panel may test the candidate\u2019s knowledge of music and culture. The interview will provide the opportunity for the candidate to demonstrate the sufficiency of their\u00a0<strong>English language skills<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The examination panel will evaluate the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>fluency and precision<\/li>\n<li>expressiveness<\/li>\n<li>technical proficiency<\/li>\n<li>familiarity with various musical styles<\/li>\n<li>conveyance of personal expression<\/li>\n<li>technical difficulty of the repertoire<\/li>\n<li>general knowledge of music and
