{"id":6089,"date":"2020-10-11T08:54:15","date_gmt":"2020-10-11T05:54:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eamt.ee\/?page_id=6089"},"modified":"2026-09-11T12:27:02","modified_gmt":"2026-09-11T09:27:02","slug":"special-scholarships","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/eamt.ee\/en\/studies\/study-grants-and-scholarships\/special-scholarships\/","title":{"rendered":"Special scholarships"},"content":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":0,"parent":6086,"menu_order":2,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-6089","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":{"is_not_a_page":false,"post_image":false,"page_content":[{"acf_fc_layout":"tekstikast","page_text":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Targeted scholarship for international students of music subjects<\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The purpose of the targeted scholarship for international students is to increase the interest of academically particularly capable international students in studying at the Academy and the opportunities for them to do so.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students enrolled in the following curricula are eligible for the targeted scholarship for international students of music subjects:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Classical Music Performance (Bachelor\u2019s and Master\u2019s studies)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sound Engineering and Music Production (Bachelor&#8217;s studies)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Composition and Multimedia (Bachelor&#8217;s studies)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Composition and Music Technology (Bachelor\u2019s and Master\u2019s studies)<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Contemporary Performance and Composition (CoPeCo) (Master\u2019s studies)<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jazz Studies (Bachelor&#8217;s studies)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jazz and Improvisational Music (Master\u2019s studies)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A student may apply for a targeted scholarship if he\/she:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">has to pay tuition fees for non-EU students;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is studying full-time, completing the curriculum in full (cumulatively at least 30 ECTS credits per semester) and has not exceeded the standard period of the curriculum;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is not on academic leave;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is a first-year student whose entrance examination result was at least 9 points;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is a second- or third-year student whose last main subject examination result was at minimum \u201cvery good\u201d.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The scholarship is awarded on the basis of a competition. The conditions of the competition, required audition programme and electronic application form are published at the beginning of the academic year, generally by mid September. Applications can be submitted once per academic year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The amount of the scholarship is 25\u201350% of the annual tuition fee. The scholarship is awarded for one academic year. If a scholarship is awarded the tuition fee reduction is applied to the spring semester invoice according to the received scholarship amount.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The application deadline for the academic year 2026\/2027 is <\/span><b>11 October 2026 at 23:59<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Read more:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/eamt.ee\/en\/about\/statutes-and-regulations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Application, award and payment procedures for scholarships and study allowances at EAMT<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Targeted scholarship for students of Cultural Management and Contemporary Physical Performance Making<\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The purpose of the targeted scholarship is to increase the interest of academically particularly capable students in studying the master\u2019s curricula of Cultural Management and Contemporary Physical Performance Making at the Academy and the opportunities for them to do so.<\/p>\n<p>A student may apply for the targeted scholarship during his or her enrolment in the Cultural Management or Contemporary Physical Performance Making curriculum or if he or she:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>is in the second year of studying for a master\u2019s degree in Cultural Management or Contemporary Physical Performance Making and has submitted an application to the Registry and Student Affairs Department for the award of the scholarship;<\/li>\n<li>is studying full-time and completing the curriculum in full (cumulatively at least 30 ECTS credits per semester);<\/li>\n<li>has a weighted average grade of at least 4.0 across his or her studies;<\/li>\n<li>is not on academic leave.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Scholarships for first-year students are awarded by the entrance examination committee on the basis of the ranking of entrance examination results. If a student candidate who has been awarded a scholarship gives up his or her student place, the scholarship is offered to the next candidate in the ranking. Scholarships for second-year students are awarded by the academic department council on the basis of the study results of the first academic year.<\/p>\n<p>The number of scholarships in the Cultural Management curriculum is as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 scholarship equal to 100% of the annual tuition fee;<\/li>\n<li>4 scholarships equal to 50% of the annual tuition fee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The number of scholarships in the Contemporary Physical Performance Making curriculum is as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4 scholarships equal to 50% of the annual tuition fee;<\/li>\n<li>4 scholarships equal
