With a rich repertoire ranging from classical to contemporary, Federica Lotti
is a flute soloist who performs with renowned orchestras in Italy and beyond, and for such institutions as the Biennale Musica in Venice, in Zagreb or in Koper. She has performed at the Piccolo Regio in Turin, the Sale Apollinee at Teatro La Fenice in Venice, the Strasbourg Conservatory, the Pompidou Centre in Paris, Mozarteum in Salzburg, Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and Linhart Hall in Ljubljana, as well as in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Brussels, Graz, Zagreb, Stockholm, Oslo, Salamanca, Tokyo, Hong Kong and various cities in China, Spain and the USA.
She has recorded TV and radio broadcasts for RaiUno, Radio Capodistria and Radio Tirolo and albums for Edipan, Taukay, Curci, Brilliant and EMAVinci.
Numerous composers have written for her, including Ambrosini, Anzaghi, Azzan, Ballio, Bo, Caneva, Flores Abad, Grasso, Mirigliano, Montalbetti, Samorì, Sammarchi, Sparano, Paradiso, Pasquotti, Perocco, Tao Yu, Toffolini, Ugoletti, Vaglini and Zambon.

As a professor at the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory in Venice, she has worked on a considerable number of projects, often in collaboration with the some of the most prestigious cultural organisations in the city. She is regularly invited by institutions in Italy and abroad to take part in performances, masterclasses and training on the technical and artistic aspects of the contemporary flute repertoire and ‘extended techniques’. She is an enthusiastic promoter of the life and works of Lorenzo Da Ponte, a poet and famous librettist born in Vittorio Veneto, where she lives.
