Student mobility

EAMT promotes student mobility and sees an exchange semester or year at a partner institution as a great opportunity for students to receive a versatile education and find professional contacts and self-fulfillment opportunities abroad. 

Exchange studies or internships are possible both independently and with the support of programmes offered by the academy.

EAMT cooperates with more than 150 music and theatre universities in the world within the framework of Erasmus+ and is a member of various Nordplus thematic networks.


ERASMUS (within Europe) application for exchange studies is open twice a year with the following deadlines:

  • 10th February – for one semester or full academic year
  • 10th October – additional application round for spring semester (info will be sent by email and published on the website)

ERASMUS International Credit Mobility application round is organised separately and will be announced on the website and via email.

Erasmus traineeship applications are accepted on a running basis, but for smoother processing please contact the international office when you have found a good traineeship option.

Nordplus grants can be applied for courses or internships with the minimum duration of just one week. Application is open on a running basis, please contact EAMT Nordplus coordinator.
