Anca Vasile Caraman is a violinist with an international performing and teaching career. She began her violin studies at the age of four in her hometown of Tulcea and continued her education at the “George Enescu” Music High School and the National University of Music in Bucharest, graduating in 2005.

In 2006, she moved to Italy to pursue further studies at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, where she completed a Master’s degree in violin under the guidance of Domenico Nordio in 2009.

Anca Vasile is the recipient of numerous awards, including nine national prizes in Romania and several international distinctions. In 2010, she was awarded a prize as a soloist at the Rovere d’Oro International Competition. She has also participated in major international competitions such as the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels and the Violin Masters in Monte Carlo.

As a soloist, she has performed with ensembles including the Bucharest Wind Orchestra, Lyceum Strings, the Orchestra of the National University of Music in Bucharest, and regional orchestras across Romania. Alongside her solo work, she is an active chamber musician and has performed extensively across Europe, including in Romania, Moldova, Austria, Italy, France, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Denmark, Monaco, Belgium, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands.

Since 2012, she has been active as a violin teacher at the Conservatories of Brescia and Darfo, and currently teaches violin at the Conservatory of Gallarate in Italy. Her discography includes recordings of works by the Italian contemporary composer Alberto Bonera.
