The curriculum of Composition and Multimedia covers classical composition and creative fields related to music technology and multimedia, such as electroacoustic music composition, live electronics, and various aspects of audiovisual art, particularly video and installation art. Students have the flexibility to select the creative practice that is of interest to them, the curriculum offers creative freedom and an education that is as broad as possible, preparing them to function independently in the professional music scene.
During their studies, students have the opportunity to acquire knowledge from different tutors and thus shape their own learning process. As part of the Composition and Multimedia curriculum, students have the opportunity to participate in workshops, seminars, and several projects taking place each year in collaboration with various national and international partners. Numerous concerts, exhibitions, and performances are held as part of the curriculum, and among the public events, the most important is the annual COMMUTE Festival, which builds a bridge between students and the professional music world and offers several opportunities to present students’ creative outcomes to a wider audience.
