The spanish pianist Jesús María Sievers is an important pianist of his generation. He has a pure sound, as well as a great ability communicating on stage. He has been awarded numerous prizes in many contests such as International Ciudad de San Sebastián, Ciudad El Ejido, Jacinto Guerrero, Preis des Hochschulrates im Wettbewersfach Klavierquartertt in Germany and Max Pirani Piano Trio Prize in England.

He has extensively toured in many concert halls in Europe and Asia, including Italy, Germany, United Kingdom and Japan. He has also performed in leading venues in his native country such as Auditorio Nacional, Fundación Marcelino Botín, has recorded successfully for Spanish National Radio and has played as a soloist in ensembles and orchestras throughout Europe with conductors Sebastian Mariné, Justus Thorau, Artem Markin, etc. At the same time, he has participated in important music festivals including Festival Internacional de Música y Danza de Granada with Orquesta Nacional de España (Spanish National Orchestra), or Tastenfest in Germany, Kyoto International Music Festival and also with youth orchestras JONDE, JORCAM, Sinfonie Orchester KHG Freiburg, Sinfónica Verum etc.

Nowadays he has an intense concert activity as a chamber musician and has performed in duos with violin, viola, clarinet, or singers, taking part of opera productions, as well as some other ensembles including strings quartet or woodwind quintet. Previously, he graduated at the Real Conservatorio de Música de Madrid in Spain with the teacher Ana Guijarro, pursued his studies at the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg in Germany with the Professor Doctor Tibor Szász, continued at the Universidad de Alcalá de Henares in Spain with the soloist and teacher Josep María Colom and the Hungarian pianist Imre Rohmann, and finished his masters at the Royal Academy of Music London with the prestigious pedagogue Christopher Elton and the renowned Diana Ketler. Also he has been awarded a degree in Musicology at the Universidad de la Rioja in Spain.

He has worked at Conservatorio Pablo Sarasate in Pamplona, Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón and currently at Escuela Superior de Canto de Madrid. He has collaborated with Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi in Milan.
