The Cultural Management master’s programme continues its monthly tradition of open morning coffee seminars on Fridays, featuring experienced cultural management practitioners.

On 1 March from 9.00 to 10.00 in room A-207, the guest will be Joonas Tartu from the Estonian Theatre for Young Audiences.

With 18 years of experience, Joonas is probably one of the longest-serving theatre general managers in Estonia. He was born in 1980 in Tallinn, but graduated from Rakvere Secondary School in 1998, from theLaw Institute in 2002 and worked at the Ministry of Culture from 2002 to 2006 as head of the Department of Draft Laws and Legal Advice. His career as general mananger began in 2006 at Rakvere Theatre. Since 2013 he has been working in the same position at the Estonian Theatre for Young Audiences. He is a Member of Board of Foundation Eesti Noorsooteater and of the Estonian Association of Performing ArtsInstitutions. He has also been involved in the management of theatre festivals Baltoscandal and NuQ Treff/Tallinn Treff Festival.
