Arturs Cingujevs is a pianist with an international performing and pedagogical career. He studied piano at the Pavuls Jurjāns Music School and the Emīls Dārziņš Secondary Music School in Riga, and continued his studies at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory under the guidance of Eliso Virsaladze. There, he obtained a Master of Music in Performance (with distinction) as well as an Aspirantura diploma. He later earned a Master of Specialized Music Performance from the Bern University of the Arts and a Master’s degree in Cultural Management and Creative Industries from the Latvian Academy of Culture.
He has performed in prestigious concert halls such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Rudolfinum in Prague, Die Glocke in Bremen, and the Salon d’Honneur at Les Invalides in Paris. As a performer, he has collaborated with distinguished artists including Krzysztof Penderecki, Laurent Korcia, Nemanja Radulović, and Vineta Sareika. He has appeared as a soloist with orchestras such as Sinfonia Varsovia, the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, and Sinfonietta Rīga.
A laureate of several international competitions, Cingujevs has made recordings for Latvian Radio and has participated in masterclasses with renowned musicians including Lazar Berman, Dominique Merlet, and Michel Dalberto. He has performed and given masterclasses across Europe, including in Germany, France, Poland, Sweden, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Switzerland, and Russia.
Since 2016, he has served as Director of the Bolderāja Music and Art School, and since 2014, he has been the founder and director of the concert agency Impresario Baltica.
