Marge Paas is an Estonian humanities scholar with a background in philosophy and phenomenology. In 2017, she defended her doctoral dissertation at Tallinn University under the supervision of Professor Tõnu Viik, focusing on the philosophical and phenomenological aspects of the experience of art.

In recent years, Paas has become one of the leading researchers of the modern history of the Catholic Church in Estonia. Her research has focused, among other topics, on the life and legacy of Archbishop Eduard Profittlich and the research related to his beatification.

Alongside her academic work, Paas has extensive experience in organising musical events. She has organised numerous concerts in Tallinn featuring Estonian and British choirs, with programmes including works by Palestrina, Victoria, Bach, Elgar, and Arvo Pärt.

In 2025, Marge Paas received an Estonian state decoration in recognition of her contribution to the study of Catholicism in Estonia and the advancement of church life.
