Students 2025

  • As of 10.11.2025, the total number of students at the Academy was 573, of which 302 were studying for a bachelor’s degree, 246 for a master’s degree and 25 for a doctorate.
  • In terms of gender, almost ⅔ (65%) of students are female – a gender predominance that has remained relatively unchanged over the last 6 years. A contrary trend is evident in doctoral studies, where there has been an annual increase in the proportion of male students, being 64% in 2025.
  • International students accounted for a quarter (26.5%) of all students at the end of 2025. Among international students, 80 were enrolled in Master’s studies, 64 in Bachelor’s studies, and 8 in doctoral studies.

Staff 2025

  • As of 31.12.2025, the total number of staff was 277, of which 64% were academic staff and 36% support staff.
  • Of all employees, 43% were men (119) and 57% women (158).
  • The gender balance of academic staff was equal, with a total of 94 men and 93 women. The distribution varies considerably according to department (Table 3) and academic occupation (Table 4).
  • Among support staff, 25 (28%) were men and 65 (72%) were women.
  • Women were more strongly represented in EMTA’s management and decision-making bodies, accounting for 58% compared to 42% men.
