The classical music terminology working group was established in 2024. Since 2026, it includes prof Toomas Siitan (Head), lecturer Aare Tool (Ekilex specialist), prof Kristel Pappel, prof Kerri Kotta, prof Margus Pappel, researcher Marju Raju, and junior researcher Veeda Kala.
The group’s aim is to refine existing Estonian-language terminology and develop new concepts in the field of classical music. The terms are entered into the Ekilex and Sõnaveeb databases of the Institute of the Estonian Language for public use.
