For businesses

Knowledge transfer is collaboration between a university and a company, through which new products, services, solutions and knowledge are created. By working with EAMT’s researchers and creative practitioners, the companies can align their business goals with research and development goals.
We welcome companies, foundations, and public and third-sector organisations interested in initiating joint projects, commissioning applied or scientific research, tailored training, or using EAMT creative services. We support our partners throughout the entire process – from defining the initial idea to developing the final solution.

Research at EAMT in the fields of music and performing arts focuses on the analysis and development of specialised topics. Our researchers are therefore valuable partners in a wide range of research and development projects, applied studies, and expert analyses.

Artistic research combines academic research with creative practice. EAMT offers companies and organisations opportunities for collaboration in the fields of music and performing arts – from training and joint projects to engaging experts and creative professionals.

EMTA offers knowledge transfer collaboration in projects that aim to:

  • develop new products or services with a music or performing arts component
  • commission applied research or expert analysis
  • find solutions to specific field-related challenges
  • design tailored training based on organisational needs
  • receive consultation or advisory services
  • involve an EAMT researcher in your team or project
  • find cross-disciplinary collaboration partners

Since 2025, EAMT has established a knowledge transfer unit that supports the implementation of the Estonian national TAIE 2035 strategy goal “A viable Estonian society, language and cultural space” and helps connect the knowledge created at EAMT with the practical needs of businesses, the public sector and the third sector.

Get in touch – every collaboration starts from a need, a question or an idea.
