Targeted scholarship for international students of music subjects


The purpose of the targeted scholarship for international students is to increase the interest of academically particularly capable international students in studying at the Academy and the opportunities for them to do so.

EAMT offers scholarships for non-EU students at BA and MA levels covering either 50% or 25% of the tuition fee, whose:

  • entrance examination result is at least 9 at BA level or at least 9 at MA level (admitted for the academic year 2021-2022):
  • last examination result in main study at least “very good” (admitted earlier)

Targeted scholarship for students of Cultural Management and Contemporary Physical Performance Making


The purpose of the targeted scholarship is to increase the interest of academically particularly capable students in studying the master’s curricula of Cultural Management and Contemporary Physical Performance Making at the Academy and the opportunities for them to do so.

A student may apply for the targeted scholarship during his or her enrolment in the Cultural Management or Contemporary Physical Performance Making curriculum or if he or she:

  • is in the second year of studying for a master’s degree in Cultural Management or Contemporary Physical Performance Making and has submitted an application to the Registry and Student Affairs Department for the award of the scholarship;
  • is studying full-time and completing the curriculum in full (cumulatively at least 30 ECTS credits per semester);
  • has a weighted average grade of at least 4.0 across his or her studies;
  • is not on academic leave.

Scholarships for first-year students are awarded by the entrance examination committee on the basis of the ranking of entrance examination results. If a student candidate who has been awarded a scholarship gives up his or her student place, the scholarship is offered to the next candidate in the ranking. Scholarships for second-year students are awarded by the academic department council on the basis of the study results of the first academic year.

The number of scholarships in the Cultural Management curriculum is as follows:

  • 1 scholarship equal to 100% of the annual tuition fee;
  • 4 scholarships equal to 50% of the annual tuition fee.

The number of scholarships in the Contemporary Physical Performance Making curriculum is as follows:

  • 4 scholarships equal to 50% of the annual tuition fee;
  • 4 scholarships equal to 25% of the annual tuition fee.
