Stefan Bojsten is one of Sweden’s most distinguished and celebrated pianists. He has performed as a soloist with nearly all major Swedish orchestras and has toured extensively across Scandinavia, Europe, Asia, and North America. A defining moment in his career came in 1985 when his duo with Almgren won first prize at the prestigious Premio Vittorio Gui, one of the world’s most prominent chamber music competitions. This victory led to numerous invitations to perform at festivals and concert tours throughout Europe.

Bojsten received his musical education at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and furthered his studies in London and New York, where he was mentored by renowned pianists such as Phyllis Sellick and Arthur Balsam. Since 1997, he has held a professorship at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. In addition to his teaching, he is a sought-after masterclass instructor at universities worldwide and frequently serves as a jury member at international piano competitions.

Stefan is also the chairman and producer of one of Sweden’s leading music series, “Piano Music at the Academy of Arts.”

He has recorded numerous albums with prominent classical labels, including Polar, Caprice, BIS, Naxos, Fermat, Artemis, MAP, recut, Musica Sveciae, and Opus 3.
