Upon concluding this program, students can expect to have gained a wide range of skills and knowledge that can help them pursue or continue a career in the music industry. Here are some of the key outcomes that students can expect:

  • Students will have gained technical skills in areas such as music production, recording, audio engineering, editing and mixing.
  • Students will have developed their creative skills, creative thinking, problem solving, including songwriting, arrangement and sound design. They will be able to write and produce their own original music and will understand the creative process involved in music production.
  • Students will have gained knowledge of the music industry, including trends, technologies, marketing, management and other music business traits and best practices. They will be familiar with the various roles and career paths available in the industry and will have a sense of how to navigate it successfully.
  • Students will have created a portfolio of work that demonstrates their skills and creativity.
  • Furthermore, students will be able to continue their studies here at the Estonian Academy of Music & Theatre – Eesti Muusika- ja Teatriakadeemia, using the 18 credit points acquired upon concluding this micro degree.
