Rules for users of the Theatre Department Branch Library
1. General provisions
1.1 The Library of the Drama School of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre is a branch of The Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre (EAMT) Library. These rules apply in the Library of the Drama School.
1.2 The use of library materials is free of charge. Other services may be paid services.
2. User registration
2.1 When registering, the user must fill out and sign a registration form either on the website of the Online Catalogue ESTER or at the Library of the Drama School. Library users are registered on the basis of a certified identity document.
2.2 Depending on their status, library users may have different borrowing privileges.
3. Lending procedures
3.1 For graduate and undergraduate students and staff of the Drama School of EAMT the maximum number of loans is 10 items, the loan period is 2 months. For graduates of the Drama School the maximum number of loans is 10 items and the loan period is 1 month.
3.2 All users may extend the loan period by a maximum of 2 times.
4. Internal rules of procedure
4.1 The borrowing of materials must be registered at the library.
4.2 Unauthorized removal of equipment and library materials is prohibited.
5. User liability
5.1 Users may not damage the materials or other property of the Library of the Drama School. In case damage has been done, it shall be compensated for.
5.2 The user shall be held proprietarily liable for the library materials in their possession.
5.3 If the item is damaged or lost, it shall be replaced with an equivalent, or its market value compensated for. Tearing out pages and making notes in the publications is also considered damaging the property of the library.
5.4 A fine for delay shall be paid for exceeding the loan period: 0.05 EUR per day for each unreturned item.
5.5 Users who have debts shall lose the right to borrow items until the borrowed items have been returned and debts have been paid.
5.6 Users who disregard the library rules of the Drama School Library may lose the right to borrow items for up to 3 months.
