SeCuM: The Self-curating Musician by Design Thinking
SeCuM was a cooperation project funded by the European Union Creative Europe programme focusing on the precarious position of young music professionals who lack the necessary skills to position themselves in fast changing market conditions.
The project aimed to teach musicians to acquire the skills and mindset to curate their own careers according to the principles of design thinking.
Part of the project consisted of a Bootcamp training and Hackaton in Belgium where the students and staff could test, adapt and validate the concepts during master seminars, workshops, ideation sessions etc.
