“CPPM TRIPTYCH. POLITICAL MOVEMENT” brings together three devised performances in one evening: “WalkYourChair”, “EMIT” and “Night Watch”.
All performances were conceived in response to the curatorial frame: political movement. From these impulses, three directions emerged, three creative teams and three completely different approaches that meet on stage to create a new shared experience. The productions explore how devising strategies can transform individual perspectives into a collective movement, aligning performers toward action and opening new ways of approaching themes of political sensitivity. The evening offers an opportunity to experience and reflect on co-creation, cultural polyphony, and the diverse expressions of contemporary political theatre.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Clarisse Degeneffe
Trained at the Kleine Academie (Lecoq) and as an actress at INSAS Brussels, with a master’s in cinema history from Panthéon-Sorbonne. Within CPPM her academic practice shifted into embodied philosophy: performance and mythopoetic drawing. Her final project Phantasmata continues her LÄBU solo Voodoo Child.
Juuli Hyttinen
A Finnish performing artist from musical theatre, moving freely between movement, live music, theatre and objects: theatrical mixtapes where familiar forms take unexpected turns. Co-founder of Säilättäret, a musical-theatre-and-circus collective now among Finland’s prominent contemporary circus ensembles.
Jeson Joy
Performer, director and choreographer from India. BA in Theatre Studies, English and Psychology; Lecoq-based physical theatre with Moving Parts, a scholarship in Indian contemporary dance and training in clowning. He has led theatre work with autistic children and children with learning disabilities alongside Flute Theatre and NIMHANS.
Oskar Moore
Contemporary movement artist and choreographer from Riga; graduated in contemporary dance choreography from the Latvian Academy of Culture in 2022 and performs with the collective SIXTH, winners of the Latvian Dance Award for GLITCH. Martial arts shape his movement; his first full-length piece Loop&Engine premiered in 2024.
Maria Papachristodoulou
Performance artist and architect from Greece, based in Athens. Since 2020 she has worked in physical theatre as performer, assistant director, set and space advisor and solo maker (Luzo, 2023; ROBA with JEUDi company, 2024). Her research builds absurd landscapes that feel both strange and deeply familiar.
Ana Trif
Stage actress trained at Babeș-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, and the Accademia Silvio d’Amico, Rome, where she studied with Romeo Castellucci and Michele Monetta. Her debut as a theatre-maker, When I Said Let’s Get Wet I Didn’t Mean Tears, won the SIAE prize for best dramaturgy in Italian and was hosted by the National Theatre of Bucharest.
